Greeting

PRESIDENT MESSAGE

Nice to meet you!
Thank you for visiting the website of Pusan Machinery Industry Cooperatives

It has been 56 years since our cooperative was founded in 1962. It was established under the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Cooperatives Act for the economic independence and enhancement in the position through the increase in the welfare for the members and cooperation projects as well as the sound development of machine industry in Busan area. Now, the cooperative has more than 400 members.

In Busan, the machinery, shipbuilding and automobile industries are the core industries. They take up 45% of the manufacturing industry in the area.

Busan area makes up a machinery industry belt along with Ulsan, Changwon and Gyeongnam areas. This area is a good place in terms of geography and location, on which our cooperative can lead the 4th industrial revolution using machine industry.

We, Busan Machinery Cooperative has led several projects, including “project for constructing the industrial cluster for cooperation”, “project for training the personnel for smart factory” and “project for constructing the overseas global network”. In addition, we have held “Busan International Machinery Exhibition” every two years since 2003.

For the mutual development of members and the cooperative, we, Busan Machinery Association makes the efforts to contribute to the regional economic development.

We will construct the infrastructure so that the Busan area can be developed into the hub for the marine and tourism industries and machinery industry.

Thank you.

Jung Yong-Hwan
